I invite everyone to join me in praying for and celebrating with our four novices who are professing their first vows today, June 23, in Dayton at Queen of Apostles Chapel. Brothers Hugo, Norman, Michael and Brandon are fine young men who will make excellent Brothers. I also just heard that there are first professions today in Togo (Africa). Today is a day of great rejoicing for the entire Marianist Family!
For the glory of the Most Holy Trinity, the honor of Mary, and to follow Christ more closely in His saving mission, I promise to God and vow to observe during one year chastity, poverty, and obedience, conformably tot he Rule of Life of the Society of Mary.
