Buon Compleanno, Mamma!

Today is my mom's birthday.  Join me in wishing her a "Buon Compleanno" and "Tanti Auguri."
In the center of Rome, there is the monument to Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of a unified Italy.  Because of its size and color, it has been dubbed the "Wedding Cake."  To celebrate mom's birthday today, they put candles on top so that it is the "Birthday Cake" :)
